I believe that many of you have heard this expression before: birds of a feather flock together. So today, I bring to “ouso escrever” one of the ideas that I have defended my entire life, the benefits of not belonging, or the pleasure of being the black sheep.
Although I know, we all have this inner call, to belong somewhere. Being the black sheep isn’t necessarily a bad thing, being the black sheep means, you keep your voice and individuality.
Being the “black sheep” means you don’t sell yourself away based on what you hear and what people try to sell you into it. You keep your voice, your standards, and your individuality.
Don’t be ashamed of who you are, instead teach folks around you how to be themselves.
With Love,
Alexandra

I loved this article my friend. It is great to stand out.
I have often joked, if you are the only sane person in an insane world… wouldn’t you be considered… insane?
A little therapist humor to lighten the mood around mental health. Hope all is well with you? Stay safe and healthy!

Dear Tom,
Thank you so much for your commentary.
I am well and doing my daily life without problems I even exercise myself regularly. How about you and your family?
My concerns about coronavirus are only about fear and all this drama that people are making. It is serious and dangerous, but if we look back in history, we didn’t learn anything.
One hug from Portugal!

Agreed. We need to learn from the past, so that we can create a future worth living for in the moment.
